摘要: We report the results from a mesocosm study investigating interrelationship between microalgae and vibrios. The mesocosms were inoculated with plankton, plankton + sedi- ment, or sediment. followed diatom bloom increases in abundance of Vibrio spp. V. parahaemolyticus conjunction several environmental variables all at reference site. dominating genera also identified. Together, these suggest blooms could support initially favoured contribution popula- tion low, on average 0.5%, but constituted rather high proportion population systems, i.e. 18%. Some identified genera, e.g. Chaetoceros Skeletonema, negatively vibrios, while Coscinodiscus positively correlated. indicate phytoplankton blooms, when recorded as levels chl a, should be used caution predictors for future epidemics, since origin might have significant effect abundance.
