Vibration control of plates by plate-type dynamic vibration absorbers

摘要: In this paper, a new plate-type dynamic vibration absorber is presented for controlling the several predominant modes of plate (mainplate) under harmonic excitation, which consists (dynamic absorbing plate) same boundary condition as main and with uniformly distributed connecting springs dampers between plates. Equations motion system in modal coordinates become equal to those two-degrees-of-freedom two masses three springs. Formulas optimum design are using tuning method system, obtained by Den Hartog method. Moreover, practical problems regarding large-scale plates, an approximate absorbers sets concentrated also presented. The numerical calculations demonstrate effectiveness absorbers.
