摘要: The extraction stage is considered to be a key step of most analytical strategies, as it greatly influences the type and quality data. In case plants, which are interesting materials for broad range domestic or industrial-scale applications, particularly crucial solid samples time. Indeed, extractions from solids well known more critical than liquids, owing limitations by diffusion and/or strong solute–solid interactions; solutes may also trapped into cells within plant materials. Consequently, careful knowledge about material itself (its structure composition) whenever possible compounds extracted (their expected levels, polarity, stability) great help conceiving optimizing an process; fate extract important consider, selectivity differs between target fingerprint approaches. Practically, even though several techniques available, none best should recommended any application. However, use recent favored, they reduce both solvent volume time required extraction; hyphenation combination investigated take benefit advantages techniques. Keywords: extraction methodologies; extraction techniques; guidelines extraction; plant materials; sample preparation; solid extraction; solute–matrix interactions; solute–solvent interactions
