摘要: The rise in the intermittent power generation from renewables shall increase secondary frequency reserve requirements future system. Complimenting support generators providing reserve, active demand response can result a cost effective contribution to this resource. Among resources, thermostatically controlled loads (TCLs) connected medium voltage networks poses an interesting potential. This work develops co-simulation environment for TCLs based side management scheme that be used assess network impacts of using service. An equivalent battery model with dynamic charging rate limits models TCL aggregation and tracks realistic regulation signal. platform is tested IEEE 119 node distribution test feeder.
