摘要: Abstract Mealiness, a chilling injury symptom, is one of the most important quality limiting factors in peaches and nectarines exported from Chile. The development mealiness was analyzed over 3 years to quantify expression this (CI) symptom different growth seasons. For such purpose, ‘O’Henry’ peaches, considered CI susceptible cultivar, were harvested stored at 0 °C (non-CI inducing conditions) 4 °C (CI for 15, 21 30 days. Quantitative measurements juice content fruits, an indicator mealiness, showed that there significant variation disorder years, being higher 2 evaluations. As expected, reduction content, or incidence with longer cold-storage especially 4 °C. There no detectable correlation between attributes physiological parameters, including skin color, flesh firmness, soluble solids respiration ethylene production rates, suggesting other than those study, are involved disorder.
