摘要: Abstract Background Excessive fluid retention is a serious complication after the maze procedure that cannot be totally explained by changes in levels of atrial natriuretic peptide. We therefore measured circulating arginine vasopressin and aldosterone patients undergoing to study their possible role this postoperative complication. Methods Serial were monitored for 72 hours 11 coronary artery bypass grafting 13 procedure. Hemodynamic data, urine output, balance, complications recorded prospectively during same period time.
