摘要: Seniors are the fastest growing segment of populations not only in many parts Europe, but also Japan and United States. ICT technologies very popular among elderly designed around their cultural necessities ergonomic needs. The risk is that near future this will be digitally isolated, a society more based on as infrastructure for service, communications. Easy Reach Project proposes an application to break social isolation through interaction help overcome barrier digital divide. This paper focuses its attention development technology algorithms used Human Computer Interface Easy Project, exploits inertial sensors detect gestures. Many experimental gesture recognition have been developed using conjunction with other or devices, by themselves, they thoroughly tested real situations, devoted adapt way executing gestures. modern interfaces --- due aging can face problems even simple gestures. Our algorithm Pearson index Hamming distance gestures has both young elderly, was shown resilient changes velocity individual differences, still maintaining great accuracy 97.4% user independent mode; 98.79% dependent mode. adopted consortium 2009-2013 pilot human machine gesture-based interface.
