摘要: Abstract An analysis is made of stress relaxation results on a series poly(ethylene tetrasulfide) samples crosslinked with 1,2,3-trichloropropane. At low concentrations at least two processes decay can be observed for which the respective rate constants and apparent activation energies are calculated. As amount trichloropropane increased one process dominates an energy 26.6 ± 0.5 kcal. mole −1 arising from scission sulfur-sulfur bonds. The difference between this bond scission, 33 kcal.mole , in S 8 molecule discussed.
