摘要: Abstract Platinum extraction from the spent reforming catalysts in iodine–iodide solutions at temperatures 25 to 95 °C was investigated. The catalyst mostly consists of a porous gamma alumina support with metallic platinum finely dispersed on walls nano-pores support. effect variety factors, including particle size, impeller agitation speed, reactant concentrations, liquid solid mass ratio, temperature and solution pH Pt rate recovery were It found that sizes less than 106 µm speed higher 700 rpm eliminated effects size level, respectively, leaching. initial concentrations ratio affecting concentration “active” iodine species, which turn, affected extraction. Higher acidities, generated by adding concentrated HCl, resulted faster extractions. Increasing reaction also produced kinetics. species (HIO, I 2 (aq), 3 − ) decreased due conversion “inactive” iodine–oxygen evaporation solution.
