摘要: Abstract Advances in the field of rare earth metallurgy and solid state physics last 157 years (the since first element was prepared metallic state) have gone hand with purity available metals. The scientific technological developments been grouped into three ages or eras: Dark Ages, Age Enlightenment Golden Age. A glimpse future is also given.
