摘要: The possible mechanisms by which calcium antagonists are effective in the management of cerebral vasospasm discussed. They number seven: relaxation spastic arteries or prevention spasm; opening up collateral channels; neuronal protection at membrane level; intracellular actions neurones vascular cells; alterations blood rheology; antimitogenic effects; and improved fluid patients. A more minor may also be involved. It is likely that than one mechanism involved their protective effect, especially different periods time course vasospasm.
