摘要: We measured bone mineral density (BMD) at the lumbar spine (LS-BMD), 13 radius (13R-BMD), and ultradistal (UDR-BMD) in 59 men (4 with fractures 4 nonspine fractures) 65 women (10 9 fractures), all receiving maintenance hemodialysis (HD). The BMD each site expressed absolutely g/CM2 was significantly lower than (p = 0.0001). In men, absolute age-matched values of both 13R- UDR-BMD were inversely correlated duration HD, serum alkaline phosphatase parathyroid hormone levels < 0.05), whereas such relationships obscure women. On other hand, but not patient age 0.001). sexes, R-BMD fracture groups nonfracture group 0.05 p 0.01, respectively), only significant difference LS-BMD that it without fractures, when as its value 0.05). By receiver operating characteristic analyses, RBMD better a determinant histories, similar to LSBMD histories. conclude is more valuable for discriminating HD patients types from those fractures.
