摘要: Cancer is the second most common cause of death among those aged ≥65 years, and a major morbidity. There some evidence that screening, by detecting precancerous lesions in asymptomatic patients, effective reducing cancer-related morbidity mortality older men women. The objectives current review article were to identify barriers opportunities for research cancer screening individuals. Using expert opinion, authors developed taxonomy years at 3 levels: macro (policy population), organizational provider, interindividual intraindividual. are numerous high-quality individuals, across all levels taxonomy. Overall, there limited evaluations repeat adherence; follow-up positive findings; diagnostic, treatment delays; access acceptance years. particular colorectal screening. has been development testing evidence-based theory-based intervention approaches enrich adherence over time which demonstrated effectiveness.
