摘要: The photophysical properties of fluorescent dyes are key determinants in the performance luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs). First-generation dyes--coumarin, perylenes, and rhodamines--used LSCs suffer from both concentration quenching solid-state small Stokes shifts which limit current LSC efficiencies to below theoretical limits. Here we show that fluorophores exhibit aggregation-induced emission (AIE) promising materials for applications. Experiments Monte Carlo simulations optical quantum with AIE at least comparable those first-generation as active even without use any accessories enhance trapping efficiency LSCs. Our results demonstrate can potentially solve some limiting dyes.
