摘要: In this work, a fully optical Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) based catheter tracking system designed for 3 T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environment is presented. The aims to solve the Radio Frequency (RF) induced heating problem present in conventional wired systems used MRI. It on an integrated circuit, consisting of receiver and power supply unit. unit includes single on-chip photodiode DC-DC converter that boosts low voltage output voltages greater than 1.5 V. Through optically driven switch, accumulated charge storage capacitor transferred rest system. This operation novel way it switch control done through modulation applied light. An local oscillator signal avoided by application RF generated MRI machine at receiving period. signals received micro-coil antenna are processed direct conversion receiver. then transferred, also optically, outside world purposes. frequency encoding method tracking. Operation with various levels external does not generate noticeble temperature increase overall successfully tested demonstrate its full operation.
