摘要: This study examined the role of purpose in life and satisfaction with protecting against suicide ideation a clinical psychiatric sample. Forty-nine patients completed self-report measures ideation, life, neuroticism, depression, social hopelessness. Zero-order correlations indicated significant associations between various predictors, hypothesized directions. Regression analyses illustrated that accounted for additional variability scores above beyond by negative psychological factors alone. Purpose also mediated relation moderated depression ideation. These findings demonstrate potential value attending to both resilience pathology when building predictive models key existential themes assessing treating suicidal individuals.
