摘要: At the nanometer scale, motion of a contact line separating dry from wet region is limited by presence surface heterogeneities that pin it. Here we revisit seminal model proposed Joanny and de Gennes to include influence thermal noise viscosity using Langevin with two degrees freedom: average position its distortion. We identify conditions under which dynamics in velocity-driven experiment can fact be described constant forcing at small scale. then relate asymptotic properties relation between force velocity defects. In particular, show Kramers' approximation misses strong asymmetry advancing receding directions. Finally, how use fit experimental data extract salient features energy landscape.
