摘要: The production of doubled haploid (DH) barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) plants has proven to be a highly valuable tool for plant breeding, allowing the release high number new cultivars (Devaux et al., 1996). Doubled haploids have also been fundamental genetic analysis, linkage maps and QTL analysis in barley. Several anther culture protocols established an efficient DH lines by different public institutions private companies. However, low embryogenic capacity albinism rate some genotypes are still open fields further improvements these protocols. To successfully used breeding program, any particular protocol should produce large from all genotypes. During last years, our aim focused on establishment wide range genotypes, as well F1 crosses putative great agronomic performance. results achieved over five years (1993–1997) laboratory resulted gradual increase numbers green per 100 anthers (from 6.3 up 17.4), fertile 1.2 10.3). Major changes initial mannitol concentration pretreatment medium 0.3 1.0 M, introduction Ficoll induction medium, optimization regeneration composition, procedure transferring soil (Cistue 1994, 1999; Castillo 2000).
