摘要: Blood removed from the heart of newborn rats mothers exposed during gestation to 18,000 feet altitude showed significantly marked increases in red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit as compared held at ground level, 750 elevation. The peripheral similarly treated was found have greater significant white amount higher readings than blood. Percentagewise cells periphery increased far more other constituents. Under these experimental conditions number live births, litter size weight were greatly reduced.
