摘要: We investigate the spatio temporal dynamics of hand pre-shaping during prehension through a biologically plausible neural network model. It is proposed that grip formation in can be understood terms basic motor programs rescaled both spatially and temporally to accommodate different task demands. The model assumes timing coordinative role propioceptive reafferent information generated by reaching component movement, avoiding need pre-organized functional structure for as some previous models have proposed. Predictions normal altered initial aperture conditions match key kinematic features present human data. differences between predictions are used try identify major principles underlying prehensile behavior.
