摘要: Introduction: Population is growing older due to the overall growth of life expectancy and medical treatment now available for conditions with high mortality rate. Such case dementia, an illness that affects not only individual but also his family environment. Objective: To indicate best possible taking into account type its severity presence other illnesses. Method: After classifying dementia clinical manifestations, non-pharmacological therapies, symptomatic pharmacological treatment, specifi c treatments based on physiopathological hypothesis are presented. Conclusion: A intervention may be modifi ed when we take comorbility, among factors defi ning integral treatment.
