摘要: The staining of viral antigens present in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues by fluorescent antibodies is markedly enhanced trypsin digestion. When the digestion method was used to detect hamster brain following experimental infection with measles virus, results were comparable those obtained acetone-fixed, freshly frozen that had been sectioned a cryostat. Measles readily identified cells from patient subacute sclerosing panencephalitis and lung liver tissue acute giant cell pneumonia, preparation for routine histologic examination. Viral detected taken patients herpes simplex encephalitis stored paraffin up 15 years. Cells containing antigen could be precisely without loss detail restaining same sections hematoxylin eosin.
