摘要: By using biofuels bioproductive land is devoted to supply energy. As the area on our planet confined and actually decreasing, compete against other demands like production of food, industrial resources, nature conservation etc. This not only results in higher prices for agricultural forestry products, but also increases environmental pressures. The aim this paper clarify if which extent might be sustainable by applying modified calculation methods ecological footprint. It can concluded that offer huge benefits compared fossil fuels. Yet, biofuel depends amount available and, therefore, decided a regional context. Ecological footprinting significantly support these decision making processes.
