摘要: A new method for the estimation of body composition in human subjects is described which entails measurement total electrical conductivity. The based on principle that conductivity lean tissue far greater than fat. Comparative studies 19 adults widely varying fatness have demonstrated excellent correlations between and both their water (r = 0.87) potassium 0.86). This noninvasive method, safe, simple, rapid, convenient, should prove useful nutritional assessment individuals populations. Am J Clin Nutr l983;37:735-739.
