摘要: Objective To explore the relationship between gastric cancer (GC) and occupational exposures. Methods A total of 382 incident GC cases 2,846 randomly selected population controls with information were included from MCC-Spain study, a population-based multicase-control study. Occupation was coded according to Spanish National Classification Occupations 1994. Occupational exposures assessed by MatEmEsp Job Exposure Matrix. ORs their 95% confidence intervals (CI) estimated unconditional logistic regression adjusting for matching variables education. Results In men, statistically significant increased risk GC, found ‘Employed skilled workers in agricultural activities’ (OR 4.4) borderline association ‘miners quarry workers’ 1.8, CI: 0.9 3.4). Regarding exposures, long term exposure (>10 years) ‘insecticides’ women 2.68) men 1.43, 0.94 2.17). highest level ‘ioninzing radiation’ (2.08), ‘silica dust’ (OR1.52) also found. women, associations some dusty such as ‘flour 1.76), or ‘other mineral dust different silica’ 2.07). other ‘paper pulp&dust’ 3.22, 0.99 10.45), non-significant increases ‘leather 2.30, 0.58 9.17) ‘textile 0.59 9.92). Conclusions This study supports previously suggested ionising radiation, pesticides environments.
