摘要: Hybrid membranes made of a biopolymer matrix poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) or succinate-co-butylene adipate) (PBSA) loaded with 5 wt% native (CNa) organo-modified (C30B) montmorillonites were successfully extruded using new extrusion conditions where liquid water was introduced into the extruder barrel to improve nanofiller dispersion and exfoliation levels. The C30B incorporation in both matrices leads degradation polymer chains reduction thermal stability while CNa introduction combined injection presents no effect on molecular weight stability. water-assisted process enables increase levels matrices, which improves barrier properties gases by tortuosity effects. In case C30B, positive induced much less pronounced since particles already well dispersed exfoliated matrices. use at high pressure during found really efficient for montmorillonite so appears as promising dispersing hydrophilic polymers having low character, without preliminary chemical modification fillers.
