摘要: Misoprostol is a prostaglandin analogue which has uterotonic properties. Administered vaginally, it an effective agent for induction of second trimester abortions. This study was undertaken to determine if the vaginal administration misoprostol inducing first Fifty-eight women with pregnancies less than 10 weeks gestation who desired pregnancy termination received varying dosages misoprostol, either alone or in combination laminaria tamoxifen. The overall success rate complete abortion 61%. use tamoxifen did not affect rates. Abortions occurred within 24 hours misoprostol. Side effects were minimal. There no significant differences any following between those had successful and not: gravidity, parity, prior elective abortion, age, gestational age pregnancy, level human chorionic gonadotropin. Although as other regimens, readily available, easy administer, without major side effects. this could eliminate need about two-thirds surgical abortions gestation.
