摘要: During 1988 the first positive steps were taken to proceed with design and construction of a neutron capture therapy facility on High Flux Reactor (HFR) at Petten. The immediate aim is realise within short time (summer 1989), an epithermal beam for radiobiological filter optimisation studies one 10 small aperture horizontal tubes. following summer, much larger beam, i.e., in cross section fluence rate, will be constructed two large tubes that replaced old thermal column 1984. This latter tube faces whole side reactor vessel, extending from 50 x 40 cm input 35 exit hole. radiotherapeutic housed here, intention start clinical trials beginning 1991.
