摘要: Designing massive scale crowdsensing experiments using smartphones can be very challenging. In this work, we define a new approach for designing applications where offload the burden of sensing from to low cost off-the-shelf Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) proximity tags. We discuss usage advertisements in BLE tags as energy-efficient resource crowd mobility trace collection. performed large experimental deployment with 600 and 10 conducted during 5 days world largest annual gathering (The Hajj). were able achieve ~90% detectability rate while effectively reconstructing routes participants.
