摘要: The mechanisms underlying velocity-specific decreases in torque production during eccentric muscle actions remain unclear. Therefore, the purpose of present study was to examine electrical efficiency at 60 and 180°·s −1 fatiguing, maximal isokinetic leg extensors. Thirteen men visited lab on two occasions randomly performed 30 repeated extensors − ¹ through a 90° range motion. Polynomial regression analyses separate measures ANOVAs were used composite patterns responses for electromyographic amplitude, torque, across protocols. Eccentric remained unchanged −1. Electromyographic amplitude efficiency, however, increased linearly protocol, but there no changes either or 60°·s fatiguing protocol. These findings indicated that performing fast velocity (i. e., −1) characterized by greater decreased efficiency) compared slow −1). Thus, it is possible velocities are more robust fatigue due, part, slow-velocity actions.
