Influence of oxidation and protonation on the electrical conductivity of polyaniline

摘要: The electrical conductivity of polyaniline was measured as a function its oxidation and protonation state. results show an interesting interplay two novel properties polyaniline, i.e., (1) the electrochemically induced three-state switching conductivity, (2) insulator-to-conductor transition. From correlation electronic absorption spectra with property changes, reaction scheme is proposed to explain observed results.
