摘要: We present a new approach for solving phase equilibria problems in multicomponent systems together with several applications. A mathematical framework is developed that provides method generalizing the thermodynamics of finite‐component system to an infinite number components—a polydisperse system. Two functions, mole fraction distribution function and density function, play key role our method. The conditions are written terms these functions formally solved. illustrate utility by solving, generalization van der Waals model, three phase‐equilibria problems: (1) fractionation impurity dissolved solvent; (2) shift critical temperature due presence impurity; (3) calculation cloud‐point surface point completely
