摘要: Abstract Green power products may be seen as a means of fostering renewable energy sources because they create and channel consumer demand for environmentally sound generation. They can therefore evaluated on par with other support instruments regarding their effectiveness to connect new capacity the grid. Apart from this direct effect however, green confer much more active role customers utilities. Thus, learning processes, which foster eco-oriented decisions beyond construction generation capacity, induced. In present paper, we provide an encompassing review ecological consequences electricity products. We examine eco-effects by comparing five European countries in endeavor increase energy. The results show that impact increasing is rather limited. second step, analyze contribution stimulating learning. It turns out has particular potential facilitating simultaneous processes involving producers, traders, suppliers consumers. conclude crucial complement governmental policies mid term. A precondition reaping careful policy design synergies interaction regulatory schemes market.
