摘要: Certain preparations of rabbit gamma-globulins (Cohn Fraction II) contain an activity which, if administered intravenously to pregnant mice, causes either complete fetal resorption in virtually 100% cases when given during the second trimester equivalent or abortions later pregnancy. All mouse strains tested are sensitive with slight differences dosages and kinetics. Unlike vaccines raised xenogeneically against rodent placenta, does not cross-react kidney result any maternal pathology; it can be adsorbed on placental testicular tissue. Within 1 hr injection, there is massive venous congestion basal decidua placenta associated death. There is, however, no evidence acute inflammatory reaction vascular thrombosis. Expression blocked by pretreatment animal heparin; antihistamines, anticholinergics, anti-inflammatory agents without effect. The heat-labile reduction-alkylation periodation. Virtually all treated females successfully remated at a time.
