摘要: A space-time multifractal analysis on radar rainfall sequences selected from the Global Atmospheric Research Program Atlantic Tropical Experiment database is presented. It shown that can be considered with a good approximation to self-similar process, so carried out assuming Taylor's hypothesis hold for over wide range of spatial and temporal scales. The advection velocity needed rescale time dimension estimated using different tracking techniques. On each sequence, very scaling observed scales ranging 4 256 km timescales 15 min 16 hours. recently developed scale-covariant model then reformulated numerical simulation fields. two parameters log-Poisson distribution used as cascade generator within are systematically dependence one these large-scale rain rate highlighted. applied disaggregate rainfall, some comparisons between synthetically downscaled discussed.
