Root resorption after dental trauma in permanent molar: a 5-year follow-up

摘要: Introduction : There is low incidence of trauma in posterior teeth, and their complications are rarely reported the literature. This report describes a case internal root resorption with communication periodontal area as result traumatic dental injury permanent molar tooth. Case Report The treatment consisted chemo-mechanical preparation use calcium hydroxide intracanal medication, followed by filling sealing mineral trioxide aggregate. Results After 5 years follow-up, tooth was function, without signs or symptoms repaired. Conclusion We emphasize importance follow-up cases trauma, even severity, such subluxative injury, order to predict possible sequelae advance. correct approach aggregate ensured successful outcome case.
