摘要: Abstract:  The actinospore diversity of infected Dero digitata was surveyed (May 2011) from a channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) production pond in the Mississippi Delta region for elucidation unknown myxozoan life cycles. At present, only 2 cycles have been molecularly confirmed catfish, linking stage an aquatic oligochaete (D. digitata) and myxospore catfish. In this study D. (n = 2,592) were isolated oligochaetes collected bottom sediment pond. After 1 wk daily observation, total 6 genetically different types observed. collective groups classified as aurantiactinomyxons, helioactinomyxons, raabeia, triactinomyxon. Overall prevalence infections 4.4%. Actinospores photographed measured morphological characterization. Four previously undescribed identif...
