Saturation magnetostriction of Fe72.5−xCoxSi12.5B15 glass covered amorphous wires

摘要: Abstract Results concerning the saturation magnetostriction, λ s , dependence on tensile stress applied during annealing as well measurements for Fe 72.5− x Co Si 12.5 B 15 glass covered amorphous wires before and after removal are reported. The increase of leads to an magnetostriction at zero stress, (0), up about 5% highly magnetostrictive samples (Fe-based). For low negative (Co-based), when value increases, changes 10% (0) absolute were observed. In case nearly 4.35 68.15 samples, a change in sign can be obtained by proper stress-current annealing. Increasing measurements, decreases all tested samples.
