摘要: Purpose The overall purpose of this longitudinal 18-month study was to test the feasibility and effectiveness a multicomponent intervention for prevention treatment osteoporosis. The article is describe baseline bone mineral density (BMD) findings 30 postmenopausal women compare these BMD time since menopause, body mass index, tamoxifen use. Data Sources Baseline data post-menopausal women, who have had variety treatments including surgery, adjuvant chemotherapy or tamoxifen, are enrolled in study. A demographic questionnaire three day dietary record were used collect data. Conclusions Eighty percent with breast cancer history abnormal BMDs at (t-scores below -1.00 SD). Thinner showed greater risk accelerated trabecular loss spine hip. Implications Practice These suggest need early assessments aggressive health promotion strategies that include multifaceted protocol drug therapy remodeling, 1500 mg daily calcium, 400 IU vitamin D strength weight training program implemented immediately following menopause high population women.
