Contactless respiration rate estimation using MUSIC algorithm

摘要: In some diseases (sleep apnea, sudden infant death syndrome etc.), continuous monitoring of respiration rate patient at home during sleep is critically important. Nowadays wireless communications signals are widely used in our homes. this paper, we propose a contactless system which uses only ambient to estimate the person. Laboratory experiments show that strentgh received radio frequency (RF) changes due inhaling/exhaling person between propagation path transmitter and receiver. study, subspace based MUSIC algorithm proposed using signals. It shown various laboratory experiments, where real data collected with software defined radios, can successfully minimum error compared FFT-based Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) approach.
