摘要: Investigating gene flow between closely related species and its variation across the genome is important to understand how reproductive barriers shape divergence before speciation complete. An efficient way characterize differential study genetic interactions that take place in hybrid zones selectively filter exchange species, leading heterogeneous divergence. In present study, genome-wide introgression patterns were investigated two sole Solea senegalensis aegyptiaca, using restriction-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-Seq) analyze samples taken from a transect spanning zone. integrative approach combining geographic genomic clines methods with an analysis of individual locus accounting for demographic history was conducted. Our results showed have come into secondary contact postglacially, after experiencing prolonged period (ca. 1.1 1.8 Myrs) allopatric separation. Secondary resulted formation tension zone characterized by strong isolation, which only allowed limited fraction genome. We found multiple evidence preferential direction S. aegyptiaca background, indicating possible recent or ongoing movement Deviant signals opposite suggested could possibly undergone adaptive has not yet spread throughout entire range. thus illustrates varied outcomes divergent pools recently met long
