摘要: Abstract The transport sector has a low penetration of renewable energy, and this presents serious obstacle to tackling climate change. Biomethane is seen as decarbonisation solution, but only some European countries have pursued its development. Italy one these countries, having released decree stimulate development the sector. present work considers two typologies substrate (the organic fraction municipal solid waste by-products) used in three sizes plants (125 m3/h, 250 m3/h 500 m3/h). A detailed socio-economic analysis presented policy implications are provided. recovery enables creation circular economy, economic feasibility such model verified scenarios. sensitivity on critical variables conducted support investment area. use green gas found be capable significantly reducing greenhouse emissions sector, value any environmental externality due carbon dioxide.
