摘要: Aim: The objective of this longitudinal study was to describe the course social functioning and communication in children with cerebral palsy (CP) over a 3-year period, its difference normative course, relationship disease characteristics personal environmental factors. Method: Participants were 110 CP (70 males, 40 females) mean age 11 years 3 months (SD 1y 8mo). Social measured Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. Comparisons made data; data analysed generalized estimating equations. According Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), 50 categorized as GMFCS level I, 16 II, 13 III, IV, 18 V. Results: period showed an increase restrictions (p<0.001). Restrictions increased more most severe forms In addition (GMFCS category, presence epilepsy, speech problems), factors (externalizing behaviour problems) (having no siblings, low parental education, stress) associated greater communication. Interpretation: results indicate that it is important focus not only on medical treatment CP, but also their behavioural problems circumstances, support parents so these may be improved. © Authors.
