摘要: Wild boar is an important species throughout the Iberian Peninsula, and populations exist from sea level to elevations of >2000 m in high mountain environments, which reflects its incredible ability adapt a wide range natural cultural environments. To summarize scientific management knowledge on this Portugal Spain, we reviewed 174 published unpublished texts written since 1914. Research has progressed descriptive studies toward applied ecology, focused problem that poses environment. We identified six main fields study interest potential wild conflict: (i) role semi-natural ecosystems, (ii) agricultural damages, (iii) car accidents, (iv) disease transmission reservoir, (v) hunt control, (vi) urban boars.
