摘要: Abstract Background Austria's position on influenza vaccination is unique. Generally it recommended for everyone, and specifically those over the age of 50 years all children between 6 months 5 years. However, rate among general public one lowest in world ( Methods This paper presents data vaccine use Austria during a period almost 30 years, from 1982 to 2011. Data presented this study were obtained three sources. Results Between 1992, showed little change its low proportion vaccinations (from 20 23 doses/1000); 1992 1995, increased 52 doses/1000, retaining status as low-use countries. By 2003, had 127 but remained lowest-use Western European 2007 2011/2012, steady decrease 81 doses/1000 was observed. Conclusion The Austrian population, parts medical system, have shown distinct ignorance regarding prevention control past decades. Possible reasons development are discussed.
