摘要: OBJECTIVE The study was to examine the prevalence of dental caries and treatment needs among orphan children adolescents Udaipur district, Rajasthan, India. METHODS A descriptive cross-sectional conducted assess oral health status children. lists obtained comprised 13 orphanages consisting 923 inmates including both sexes. survey proforma prepared using a self-administered structured questionnaire written in English validated through pretested survey. statistical software namely SPSS 15.0 used for analysis data. RESULTS primary teeth found be 49.6% permanent 41%. Most need one surface filling followed by pulp care. CONCLUSION unmet decayed were also high indicating very poor accessibility availability any Clearly, it can concluded that this community has experienced low utilization preventive or therapeutic services. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE Orphanage India are usually taken care NGOs social workers who do not realize forms an integral part well-being. So, paper enlighten adolescents.
