摘要: Abstract Mesoporous submicron α−Al2O3 green compacts were fabricated using slip casting of ultrafine alumina powders. The pre-sintered samples sintered in air atmosphere at 1300 °C, 1350 °C, 1400 °C, and 1500 °C to obtain a variety grain morphologies namely equiaxed micro rod structures. resulting diameters lie between ∼ 270 nm 1590 nm total porosity fraction 0.05% 13%. room temperature flexural strength (σ) evaluations fractography analyses performed. It was observed that the dictates as compared diameter. Further, it found exhibited decreasing trend for an increase fraction, proved be better effective parameter than open fraction. suggest 1300 °C 1350 °C predominantly underwent intergranular fracture, while those 1400 °C mixture transgranular fracture.
