摘要: The effects of coadministration a renin inhibitor, terlakiren, and an angiotensinconverting enzyme captopril, with the angiotensin II receptor antagonist, losartan, on blood pressure sodium-depleted guinea pigs were studied. Dose-response relationships for terlakiren (0.1 to 3.0 mg/kg, iv), captopril (0.03 1.0 losartan 6.0 iv) obtained either alone or in presence submaximal dose other inhibitor. hypotensive response calculated each compound individually was subtracted from combination inhibitors, results showed that statistically significant synergy occurred losartan. degree indicated achieve same pressure, drug could be decreased approximately 2- 7-fold when administered combination. These indicate by inhibiting multiple sites renin-angiotensin system, synergistic can produced. relative safety inhibitor improved large reductions used concurrently. © 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
