摘要: The genus Toxocara contains parasitic nematodes of human and animal health significance, such as canis, cati vitulorum. T. canis are among the most prevalent parasites dogs cats with a worldwide distribution. Human infection cati, which can cause number clinical manifestations visceral larva migrans (VLMs), ocular (OLMs), eosinophilic meningoencephalitis (EME), covert toxocariasis (CT) neurotoxocariasis, is considered neglected helminthiasis in industrialized countries. accurate identification spp. their unequivocal differentiation from each other ascaridoid causing VLMs OLMs has important implications for studying taxonomy, epidemiology, population genetics, diagnosis control. Due to limitations traditional (morphological) approaches spp., PCR-based techniques utilizing range genetic markers nuclear mitochondrial genomes have been developed useful alternative because high sensitivity, specificity, rapidity utility. In this article, we summarize current state knowledge advances molecular identification, variation prospects further studies.
