摘要: The present study was designed to investigate the nature of 5-HT4 receptors affecting peristaltic reflex in isolated rat distal colon. A single evoked by infusing Tyrode solution into lumen segment using our modified Trendelenburg's method under an isovolumic condition. receptor agonist, mosapride (10 nM), did not affect threshold pressure and propagation distance contraction, but significantly increased developed (maximum pressure−threshold pressure) from 19.1±11.8 cm H2O control 26.8±13.0 (n=8, P<0.05) without resting muscle tone result suggests that stimulation enhances propulsive power move luminal contents
